Acceptable Use Policy

This policy describes what is and isn't allowed when using ComplyHaul. It forms part of our Terms of Service.

1. Prohibited Activity

You must not use ComplyHaul to:

  • Engage in illegal activity or violate any Australian or applicable foreign law.
  • Upload, store or transmit material that infringes intellectual property rights, contains malware, or contains content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, or invasive of another's privacy.
  • Falsify identity or impersonate any person or entity.
  • Use the service to send unsolicited commercial communications (spam).

2. Resale and Sub-licensing

Accounts are licensed to a single legal entity. You may not resell, sub-license, white-label, or share access with parties outside your organisation without prior written permission.

3. Scraping and Automation

Automated access to ComplyHaul is permitted only via documented APIs or features intended for that use. You may not scrape, crawl, or otherwise extract data from the service in a way that imposes an unreasonable load on our infrastructure or circumvents rate limits and access controls.

4. Security Testing and Responsible Disclosure

Good-faith security research is welcome but must avoid: degrading the service, accessing data that doesn't belong to you, social engineering of our employees or customers, and disclosing vulnerabilities publicly before we've had a reasonable chance to respond.

Report vulnerabilities to [email protected] with a clear description and reproduction steps. We will acknowledge within one Australian business day.

5. Abuse Reporting

To report content, accounts, or behaviour that violates this policy, contact [email protected].

6. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and take action including warning, suspending or terminating accounts, and cooperating with law enforcement where appropriate. Where possible we will notify you before suspending an account.
